Donley Construction Consultants is a premier Bay Area private consulting practice that specializes in identifying, defining, analyzing and solving construction and property disputes. Our technical experience with a wide range of project types including schools, industrial facilities, single and multi-family residences, condominiums and hospitals qualifies us to serve as expert consultants in contested construction matters. In addition to expert witness testimony, our services include technical analysis and consulting, claims management of technical issues in complex litigation, delay and disruption claims analysis and defect analysis.
We are seeking a senior level person whose responsibilities include:
- Analyzing potential design defects that arise from delay claims including reviewing work of other designers; preparation of remedial design document
- Attending site visits (relating to construction issues), performing document analysis and code compliance analysis.
- Acting as project manager on a variety of projects from beginning to end. This will include organizing and managing documents, photographs and drawings.
- Preparing hand drawings, note-taking and photography, which may require the ability to climb on scaffolding, roofs and ladders.
- Marketing/Networking new and former clients.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors in Architecture
Architectural License
8+ years professional experience
Project Management/Construction Management or Contract Administration experience
AutoCAD Lite, Illustrator, Suretrack
Experience in dispute resolution and school design a plus.
